III believe that this is Heidrick Helmholtz or Reicholtz who was a Dutch tailor. He had some similar ideas to me with his strapping and fabric, but he had no control with too small of a surface area for a no wind condition. It is sad that he died going off the Eiffel Tower in France around 1912 without being sure it would hold and control air/ wind. I commend his confidence and know how he felt from my own experiences. I hope not to die from this crazy experiment myself. |

TTThis is a Roman mosaic from Chichester, England which is only 5 miles from the Bognor Birdman Challenge in Southern England. I was with the Bognor Birdman President as we viewed the exhibit, where he and his wife had not yet been, we discovered this winged man "obviously, flying his trusty dolphin. |
